Andrea de Jaray

Andrea de Jaray is the Head of Patient Services for Alexion Canada and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and vision to enable patient access to medicines.

Before moving into the role, Andrea was AstraZeneca Canada’s Strategic Lead Patient Services under the Patient Centre of Excellence. She was responsible for the strategy and implementation of key services to meet patient needs within the specialty pharmaceutical space including end-to-end support across all provinces and territories in Canada.  She has played a key role in the continued development and evolution of patient programs, ensuring flexibility and agility to reach diverse patient populations across a vast geographical landscape.

Throughout her career, Andrea has held various positions including supporting pharmaceutical companies in developing and delivering transformational and innovative healthcare solutions to support the growth of their business.

After graduating and licensing as a Registered Nurse, Andrea developed a deep passion and perspective on the patient experience within the healthcare ecosystem. She believes a continuous improvement mindset is required to enable and accelerate transforming the HealthCare Ecosystem.
