David Greiss

David Greiss has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry spanning over 13 years. David currently holds the position of Director of Pharmaceutical Partnerships and Operations at GreenShield since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Pharmaceutical Partnerships at the same company from July 2022 to December 2023 and as a Manager of Pharmaceutical Agreements from August 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining GreenShield, David worked at the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance as a Team Lead from July 2021 to August 2021 and as a Senior Pharmacist from February 2018 to June 2021.

David also gained experience as a Pharmacist at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from January 2017 to February 2018.

David’s earlier roles include working at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where they served as a Lecturer for Opioid Dependence Treatment Course from September 2012 to January 2018, a Pharmacy Data Analyst from August 2015 to January 2017, a Pharmacist Lead for Investigational Drug Services from February 2012 to January 2017, and a Clinical Pharmacist from May 2008 to February 2012.

Additionally, David served as a Pharmacy Manager at Royal Compounding Pharmacy from June 2014 to June 2016, and as a Relief Pharmacist at Pharmacy Services from September 2008 to January 2014.

David Greiss earned a degree in Pharmacy, a B.Sc. Phm., from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. David later pursued a Master’s degree in Health Economics, an MSc., from the University of Toronto, which they completed from 2010 to 2014.
