Dr. Farah Husein is the Director, Science and Methods at Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA-AMC). In this role, Dr. Husein is accountable for the teams that ensure the rigour and quality of CDA-AMC’s evidence products through Method, and develop and advance evidence standards at CADTH: Quantitative Methods (including RWE), Qualitative Methods and Ethics, HTA and Deliberation, and Scientific Advice. Dr. Husein is a clinical pharmacist (PharmD), with training (MSc) and experience in both clinical and economic evidence generation and appraisal. Prior to CDA-AMC, Dr. Husein held various roles providing patient care in pharmacy settings, teaching, as well as many years in senior roles in the Medical departments of several pharmaceutical companies.
