Michael Sine

Michael has 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, starting in consumer packaged goods with Jamieson Laboratories.

He has spent over 20 years with Teva Canada in several key senior positions including as the General Manager, where he was responsible for generics, specialty and innovative therapies, biologics, biosimilars and over the counter medications. While at TEVA, he led over 900 employees across two manufacturing sites and two commercial packaging, distribution and laboratory sites in Toronto and Montreal.

He led his team with key product launches in generics like the ADHD medicine methylphenidate ER and octreotide injectable, as well as a biologic for severe migraine sufferers, Ajovy, and biosimilars in ophthalmology, rheumatoid arthritis and oncology.

Michael has received the Most Distinguished Partner from the Canadian Association of Pharmaceutical Distribution Management, and this year, he received the Forbes Magazine Best Employer in the pharmaceutical industry, Canada.

As well, this Spring Michael received the Best Partner of the Year Award from Shoppers Drug Mart that recognized the synergies and partnership in bringing broader access to patients and caregivers in Canada.

He is a father of 4 children and Michael and his wife Holly live in Burlington. In his spare time Michael writes and composes music in his studio.
